John McEnroe, ancien numéro un mondial du circuit professionnel de tennis ATP, devient consultant pour Roland-Garros (24 mai-7 juin) sur Eurosport British, indique la chaîne contrôlée par Discovery Communications. Il commentera sept matches sur la chaîne anglaise et participera au talk-show Game, Set and Mats, aux côtés d’un autre ancien numéro un mondial, Mats Wilander.
John McEnroe a gagné en tournois du Grand Chelem à sept reprises, mais jamais à Roland-Garros ; Il a échoué en finale en 1984, face à Ivan Lendl.
