Bertrand Tavernier: book by Laurent Delmas in the continuity of the series on France Inter

Fine connoisseur of the work of Bertrand Tavernier, Laurent Delmas, journalist co-presenter and co-producer of On aura tout vu on France Inter, publishes with Gallimard editions and Radio France Bertrand Tavernier, le cinéma et rien d’autre, in which 15 artists and relatives talk about their links with the filmmaker who died in March 2021 and his films.
The book is an extension of the series Tavernier, le cinéma et rien d’autre, broadcast last summer on France Inter. It restores all of the 15 interviews carried out for this one which shed light on the main themes of Bertrand Tavernier's filmography, in nine chapters of the same title as the radio episodes: La Gloire de ses pères, Elles et lui, De guerre en guerre, L’Enchanté, Le Temps des assassins, Au Fil des siècles, De l’écrit à l’écran, Citizen Tavernier and Monsieur Cinéma. Images and excerpts from the feature films complement the words of Stéphane Audoin-Rouzeau, Nathalie Baye, Luc Béraud, Christophe Blain, Thierry Frémaux, Julie Gayet, Xavier Giannoli, Marie Gillain, Laurent Heynemann, Isabelle Huppert, Stéphane Lerouge, Raphaël Personnaz, Philippe Sarde, Mélanie Thierry and Philippe Torreton.
Released on November 3 (29.90 euros), the book also offers, in the appendix, the complete filmography of the filmmaker in the form of files, with the poster of each feature film, as well as the bibliography of DVDs and Blu-rays relating to his work and a discography.
