After marketing its first "5G box" in June 2022, Bouygues Telecom has begun marketing a new one as of Wednesday, February 1, characterized by its "very easy installation" and its limited environmental impact, the operator announced the same day. It is advertised at 40.99 euros per month without obligation and gives access to the b.tv application on smartphones and tablets, i.e. 70 channels and 25 catch-up services.
Compatible with Wi-Fi 6, this 5G box has a vertical design, with enhanced connectivity and buttons accessible on the front to facilitate device connections. On the environmental aspect, Bouygues Telecom highlights in particular its composition of 95% recycled plastic with a texture that reduces scratches and the presence of “passive ventilation” which generates energy savings. The box is "designed to be easily refurbished or reused," emphasized the group.
