Cannes Film Festival 2023: 11 films in the running for the Ecoprod prize

The 11 films in the running for the 2 nd edition of the Ecoprod prize, awarded during the Cannes Film Festival (May 16 to 27), were unveiled on Wednesday May 10. Remember that since last year the prize has been awarded to a feature film produced in the most eco-responsible way possible, in all competitions and Cannes selections combined. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 21 at 12 p.m. on the CST stand in the presence, in particular, of the jury and the winners. In 2022, La Cour des miracles, directed by Carine May and Hakim Zouhani, was honored.

The submissions were Acide by Just Philippot (Bonne Pioche Cinéma - Midnight screening), Augure by Baloji (Wrong Men North - Un Certain Regard), Caiti Blues by Justine Harbonnier (Sister Productions – Acid), La Chimera by Alice Rohrwacher (Tempesta, Ad Vitam production, Amka Film Productions, Rai Cinema - competition), The Pot au Feu by Trần Anh Hùng (Curiosa Films - competition), L'Autre Laurens by Claude Schmitz (Wrong Men North - Filmmakers' Fortnight), Le Proces Goldma by Cédric Kahn (Moonshaker - opening film of the Quinzaine des Cinéastes), Le Théorème de Marguerite by Anna Novion (TS Productions, Beauvoir Films - special screening), Rien à Perdre by Delphine Deloget (Curiosa Film - Un Certain Regard), Rosalie by Stéphanie Di Giusto (Trésor Films - Un Certain Regard) and Simple comme Sylvain by Monia Chokri (Metafilms - Un Certain Regard).
