The 2nd Ecoprod prize, which rewards a feature film produced in the most eco-responsible way possible, all competitions and Cannes selections combined, was awarded on Sunday May 21 to the team of the film Acide by Just Philippot (Séance de Minuit), produced by Good Pickaxe Cinema. The jury wished to salute “the mobilization of all the teams”. All of them agreed to “actively participate in limiting the environmental impact of the film”, which benefited from the support of the Secoya Eco-Tournage agency.
An Ecoprod International prize was also awarded to the teams of the film La chimera by Alice Rohrwacher, produced by Tempesta, Ad Vitam Productions, Amka Film Productions and Rai Cinema, presented in competition. The jury "appreciated that the eco-responsible approach, very ambitious, was truly anchored in the territory".
