Kinepolis: acquisition of the Gaumont cinema in Amnéville

Kinepolis acquired from Pathé the Gaumont cinema in Amnéville in eastern France near Luxembourg, they announced on Wednesday, December 14. The group will take over the operational management as well as the real estate of the cinema, which includes 12 rooms with 2,462 seats. Located in a leisure area, the establishment also has a 4DX room. In 2019, before the health crisis, it welcomed more than 410,000 guests.

With this acquisition, Kinepolis now has 16 cinemas in France (15 Kinepolis and the Klub arthouse cinema), for a total of 176 screens and more than 40,000 seats.
