The students of the 2022-2023 promotion of the Master 2 Digital Media Cinema (DMC) from the University of Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne have published "2022, the year of the media", a document which provides a broad overview of key events and figures last year in the digital, media and cinema sectors.
In this annual "replay" exercise, initiated in 2017, they return to the role and development strategies of streaming platforms, the abandonment of the project the TF1 and M6 groups merger, technological developments (with the metaverse in particular), as well as major regulatory or professional negotiations that marked 2022 such as the transposition of the AVMS directive or the conclusion of a new media chronology.
