M6 will dedicate its evening of Thursday November 24 to rakes and seducers whose real objective is to empty the bank account of seduced women, with a double programming: the first two episodes of the miniseries L’Homme de nos vies, followed by of the documentary Arnacœurs, quand la réalité dépasse la fiction, announced the channel.

Co-produced by Sibaro Films (Amaury Fournial) and Shine Fiction (Dominique Farrugia), L’Homme de nos vies (4 x 52') is "freely inspired by true stories, some of which have hit the headlines like those of Derek Alldred, Christophe Rocancourt, Jacques Masset," the statement read. The "psychological thriller" tells the association of four women, whose lives have been destroyed by a charming crook, with the aim of "pinning him down."

This man, in turn an airline pilot, a surgeon for Doctors Without Borders, an ex-trader, a great reporter, etc., is played by Jonathan Zaccaï. The four betrayed lovers are played by Odile Vuillemin, Flore Bonaventura, Helena Noguerra and Elodie Frégé.

Awarded the prize for best screenplay at the last La Rochelle Fiction Festival, the miniseries was created by Marie Guilmineau and Alice Van den Broek, based on an original idea by Amaury Fournial, and written by Alice Van den Broek and Eliane Vigneron. L’Homme de nos vies is directed by Frédéric Berthe.

At 11:10 p.m., the evening will continue with the documentary Arnacœurs, quand la réalité dépasse la fiction (60') by Eloïse Daviaud and Timothée Vienne. Produced by VideoClub Studio, it "proposes to get into the heads of these new scammers born from social networks, to understand how they switch, what their methods are and why no one, or almost no one, resists them," explains M6.

Nourished by testimonies of ""Arnacœurs" confronted with the words of the victims and the analysis of psychological experts and investigators," the documentary is narrated by Damien Witecka, the French voice of Leonardo DiCaprio whom he dubbed in Catch Me If You Can by Steven Spielberg, inspired by the life of a Franco-American impostor.
