TF1 formalized and detailed, Thursday, May 4, its new Panda series (6 x 52'), with Julien Doré, filming since April 5 in the Camargue area (Satellifacts, May 3). Created by Thomas Mansuy and Mathieu Leblanc, the fiction is produced by Superprod Drama (Nathalie Laurent). It is directed by Nicolas Cuche (episodes 1 and 2) and Jérémy Mainguy (episodes 3 to 6). Ophelia Kolb, Gustave Kervern, Hélène Vincent, Maxence Lapérouse and Mathis Bour complete the cast.
Relaxed pacifist, "matcha addict" and convinced vegan, Panda (Julien Doré) runs a small hut in a remote corner of Camargue where he lives without a laptop, computer or car, with his 16-year-old son. Hard to imagine, and yet this tall sage in flip-flops and a faded T-shirt was once a cop, and one of the best. In his haven of peace, he finds himself forced to resume service, but in his own way, without weapons or violence and not too early in the morning.
