Al Jazeera: the channel calls on the ICC (The Hague) concerning the death of its journalist Shireen Abu Akleh

The Qatari channel Al Jazeera has submitted to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague a file incriminating the Israeli army for the death of its Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, killed in May. The channel says it has "discovered new evidence" on the circumstances of the death of this star journalist killed by a bullet during an Israeli army raid in Jenin, in the north of the occupied West Bank. The ICC has no obligation to take up the case.
