The 2023 edition of the Alpe d'Huez Festival (Festival de l'Alpe d'Huez)(January 16 to 22) will open with the comedy Alibi.com 2, by and starring Philippe Lacheau, but also starring Elodie Fontan, Tarek Boudali, Julien Arruti, Didier Bourdon, Nathalie Baye and Gérard Jugnot, announced the organizers on Thursday, 17 November. The film, presented outside of competition, will be released in France on February 8, 2023, distributed by Studiocanal.
The synopsis: After closing his agency Alibi.com and promising Flo that he would never lie to her again, Greg's new life has become quiet, too quiet. When he decides to propose to Flo in marriage, Greg is up against the wall and must resolve to introduce her to his family. But between his crook father and his ex-actress mother, it is very likely to ruin their future union. He therefore has no choice but to reopen his agency with his former accomplices for an ultimate alibi and to find more presentable false parents.
In 2014, Philippe Lacheau presented Babysitting in competition at the Festival, which won the public prize and the special jury prize.
