A few days after a record fundraising of 100M$ (97.30M€) to accelerate its growth (Satellifacts, November 12), Amagi, a global provider of cloud solutions for connected television, announced on Tuesday, November 22 the acquisition of Streamwise, data aggregation and reporting platform for content distributors.
Since Streamwise specializes in the automation of data collection on streaming platforms, this acquisition should allow Amagi to improve its data processing capabilities thanks to more complete reports and dashboards.
With the explosion of live linear channels, advertising and viewership on free streaming television (FAST), managing data and insights into ad content and performance will quickly become a key differentiator for content creators, argues Amagi.
Co-founded and led by Baskar Subramanian, Amagi “offers a comprehensive suite of solutions dedicated to channel creation, distribution and monetization” of live, linear and on-demand channels for cable, OTT and FAST TV.
