Annecy: the poster for the 2023 edition designed by Mexican director Jorge R. Gutierrez

The poster for the 47th Annecy International Animation Film Festival, which will be held from June 11 to 17 and which this year will honor Mexican animation, was unveiled on Monday, January 30. It was directed by animator and director Jorge R. Gutierrez (La Légende de Manolo), who will also be part of the juries. Inspired by "all the spectacular night parties" at the festival, it depicts a trajinera - a Mexican boat - arriving on Lake Annecy, carrying "happy and excited, ready to party" Mexicans.
