The Arcom was seized about a sequence broadcast in Touche pas à mon poste! (TPMP) on C8 Thursday March 9, in which a guest, Gérard Fauré, presented as the "ex-dealer of Tout-Paris", put forward a conspiracy theory on an alleged drug taken from children, indicated the Authority, Friday, March 10. Arcom will therefore “examine the sequence and assess the follow-up ” for this referral, it indicated.

In the last part of Cyril Hanouna 's show, around 9 p.m., Gérard Fauré was initially questioned about Pierre Palmade's cocaine consumption, which caused a serious road accident on February 10, for which the comedian has been indicted (Satellifacts, February 20). In the process, the guest presented as a fact the existence of child trafficking aimed at taking a substance called adrenochrome from their blood for the consumption of celebrities, a conspiracy theory promoted in particular by the American conspiracy movement Qanon and dismantled several times in recent years.

These words were not denied on the set. “ There are people who say that it exists ”, indicated Cyril Hanouna, while affirming on several occasions that the statements of his guest “were only binding on him”. Pressed to conclude as the end of the program approached, Gérard Fauré mentioned the name of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, before Cyril Hanouna returned to the antenna at 9:15 p.m. Previously, the guest had also claimed that the Vatican was a major exporter of cocaine.

In the three-quarters of an hour following the end of TPMP, the Twitter accounts of the show and then of the C8 channel itself "condemned" the comments made on their antenna by their guest. These excerpts aroused great indignation on social networks and many Internet users reported their intention to seize the Arcom.
“The publisher is responsible for what it broadcasts and must vouch for the comments made on the air,” recalls the regulator on the occasion of this new incident around the Cyril Hanouna program.
At the beginning of February, C8 was fined a record 3.5 million euros after the insults hurled live by its host at LFI deputy Louis Boyard (Satellifacts, February 9).
