
Arte announced on Monday February 27 the broadcast of a cycle dedicated to Jean-Pierre Mocky. It will open with the film Un drôle de paroissien (1963) with Bourvil, Jean Poiret and Francis Blanche on air March 13 and on arte.tv until April 11, then six films by the filmmaker will be available exclusively on the platform, from March 1 to August 31: La Tête contre les murs (1958) ; Les Dragueurs (1958) ; La Cité de l’indicible peur (1958) ; Noir comme le souvenir (1965) ; Solo (1969) ainsi que Le Témoin (1978).
This program will also include, on arte.tv until the end of August, Jean-Pierre Mocky – Libre et sentimental, an unpublished documentary (22') by Virginie Apiou presented as a journey into the mind of the filmmaker, "modern actor and busy director", and in his cinematographic work "playful, deep and full of temperament".
