Arte will broadcast on Friday June 2 in prime time the fiction film Le Horla (90' - CPB Films), a contemporary adaptation of the fantastic short story of the same title by Guy Maupassant, starring Bastien Bouillon, César 2023 for most promising male actor for The Night of the 12th.

Directed by Marion Desseigne-Ravel (Les Meilleurs) who co-signed the screenplay with Olivier Fox and Olivier de Plas, this fiction transposes Maupassant's short story to the present day, scrutinizing the mental confinement induced by the Covid years. Damien and Nadia, in their thirties, leave Paris with their 8-year-old daughter Chloé. Graphic designer for an event company, Damien now works from home. It is then that he is harassed by strange noises that only he hears. This noise pollution is accentuated and he can no longer work or sleep. Is he going crazy?

Mouna Soualem (The Night of the 12th) plays the role of Nadia, alongside Milla Harbouche, Alix Blumberg dit Fleurmont, Judith Zins, Guillaume Pottier, Philippe du Janerand, Miglen Mirtchev and Jérôme Thévenet.
