Arte France: broadcast of unpublished portrait of "Sarah Bernhardt, pionnière du show business"

Arte France will broadcast Sunday, April 16, at 5:50 p.m., Sarah Bernhardt, pionnère du show business, an unpublished portrait of the "Divine" also available online from April 9 to May 15 on arte.tv, according to a press release from the channel published Wednesday March 22.

This documentary (52') by Auriane Crémieu, co-produced by Bonne Pioche Télévision (Federation Studios), with the participation of Planète+, looks back on the whimsical and eventful life of Sarah Bernhardt, who defied theatrical traditions. It includes in particular “ rare filmed sequences ” of the actress and “sound recordings”, specifies the channel.
The distribution of this portrait takes place on the occasion of the centenary of the disappearance of Sarah Bernhardt and the holding of an exhibition dedicated to her at the Petit Palais.
