The second edition of the Arte Game Jam, which took place from January 6 to 8 at the Marbrerie de Montreuil, attracted nearly 340,000 viewers on Twitch, where it was the subject of 15 hours of streaming as part of a special issue of Jour de play, a talk show devoted to video games and imagined by the channel for this social platform, Arte said in a press release on Monday, January 9. Over the whole weekend, "5,000 people on average simultaneously followed the live stream." Two audience peaks were recorded with "nearly 10,000 viewers connected simultaneously," during the Friday evening launch party as well as for the closing ceremony on Sunday evening.

During the 2 days of collaborative work, seven teams each made up of five people and a mentor from the video game world (Thomas Altenburger, Doc Géraud, ExServ, Lola Guilldou, Kayane, NatAli and Trinity) each proposed a video game free on the "mirror" theme.

Thanks to this event, Arte's Twitch channel gained "nearly 2,700 subscribers in one weekend," bringing its total number of subscribers to "more than 55,000 people."
