Arte: return on March 7 of “Libres !" Ovidie's web series with more than 60 million views

Season 2 of Libres ! (10 x 3'), an animated documentary web series by Ovidie and Sophie-Marie Larrouy, will be available from March 7 on arte.tv and Arte's social channels, it announced on Wednesday, February 8. Launched in January 2021, the first season of this Magneto Presse and 2 Minutes production accumulated “more than 60 million video views,” including 3 million in less than a week, when it started. Directed by Ovidie and Josselin Ronse, the 10 new episodes will address themes such as the female orgasm, the contraceptive mental load, the G-spot or even the obsession for female derrieres.

Adapted from Ovidie and Diglee's book, Libres! Manifeste pour s’affranchir des diktats sexuels (Editions Delcourt, Tapas collection), the series aims to deconstruct the presuppositions dictated by society in matters of sexuality.
