
The two seasons of the British fiction event State of the Union (20 x 10'), directed by Stephen Frears, will be available on arte.tv from Friday May 5 for a period of 6 months, announced the Franco-German channel, Friday, April 14.
Awarded with four Emmy Awards, the short series created and written by the British novelist and screenwriter Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, Pour un garçon) examines two couples on the verge of breaking up: during season 1, broadcast in 2019, quadras embodied by Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) and Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd), and in Season 2, which launched in 2022, retirees played by Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Patricia Clarkson (Sharp Objects).
