Brut. : device for the Cannes Film Festival 2023; experimentation with AI

Video media Brut., official partner of the Cannes Film Festival with France Télévisions, unveiled its plan for the 76th edition (May 16 to 27), Friday May 12. Brut. " will intensify the presence and influence of the Festival on all platforms, in France and internationally", for this 2023 edition.

Throughout the duration of the event, dedicated content will be published daily by Brut. on its application and on all platforms: TikTok – also a partner of the Festival – (with increased collaboration this year), YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat (with a show dedicated to the Festival), Twitter and Facebook. Raw. will broadcast the opening ceremony on TikTok and the closing ceremony on all of its digital platforms.

The media will also cover the red carpet live, and follow the photocalls and press conferences. Augustin Trapenard (also at the helm of the new daily Plan Plan on Culturebox) will offer a ten-minute interview each day.

By the way, YouTube, Brut. and the CNC will welcome videographers for the second consecutive year as part of a residency dedicated to the Cannes Film Festival. The ten participants (including the youtubers Maghla, Cyprien, Mastu, Océane and Theodort) co-selected by the three partners will meet film professionals and take part in various events over the fortnight.

Finally, Brut. will work this year with artificial intelligence. Among these "fun and innovative" formats, two AIs will dialogue together live by discovering the films of the competition in order to give "a tailor-made prognosis for each work". Or during certain interviews, guests can play the game of being questioned by their own avatar.
