The Air Cocaïne docufiction miniseries (4 x 52') made the best start for a Canal+ documentary creation, with more than 3 million views, the channel rejoiced on its Twitter account on Thursday April 6. Produced by Memento (Thierry Marro) and Broadster (Aurélien Combelles), it was launched on March 22.
Air Cocaïne recounts a case that began in March 2013 with the boarding, by narcotics in the Dominican Republic, of a private jet bound for Saint-Tropez carrying 26 suitcases filled with 700 kilos of cocaine, two former fighter pilots of the Navy, a business provider and a disturbing passenger. This is followed by a sentence of twenty years in prison, an escape staged with a team of "barbouzes", betrayals...
