
David Ginola joins the Canal+ talent team for the Champions League, the channel announced on Monday, January 16. The former French international and Paris Saint-Germain striker will intervene more particularly within the Canal Champions Club, presented by Hervé Mathoux, accompanied by Laure Boulleau, and consultants Samir Nasri, Didier Drogba, Robert Pirès, Habib Beye, Olivier Dacourt and Sidney Govou. He will bring all his expertise and analyzes to decipher the competition.
David Ginola made his television debut with Canal+ in 2013, and was the first former player to present his own show with Match Of Ze Day in 2014. In 2016, he joined the M6 presenters team for the Euro 2016 football. On this same channel, he hosted La France a un incroyable talent.
For his return to Canal+, he will start on February 14, on the Canal Champions Club set, ahead of the 8th Champions League final first leg between PSG and Bayern Munich live from the Parc des Princes.
The program is broadcast from 7:45 p.m., before each C1 match, on Tuesdays on Canal+ Foot and on Wednesdays on Canal+ (co-broadcasting Canal+ Foot).
Canal+ and beIN Sports share the main C1 rights for the period 2021 to 2024, i.e. the two best matches for the Vivendi subsidiary and the other matches for beIN.
