Cannes Film Festival 2023: the Quinzaine des Cinéastes unveils its poster

The poster for the 55th Quinzaine des Cinéastes (ex-Quinzaine des Réalisateurs), a parallel section of the Cannes Film Festival which will be held from May 17 to 26, was unveiled on Thursday March 30. This is a photo of the Portuguese actress Leonor Silveira, taken from the film Val Abraham by Manoel de Oliveira (inspired by the novel Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert) which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs 1993).
