Cannes Film Market: the 2023 edition will take place from May 16 to 24

The next Cannes Film Market (Marché du film de Cannes) will be held from May 16 to 24, 2023, on the sidelines of the 76th Festival, the organizers announced on Thursday, January 5. Accreditations will open on February 1st. Now headed by Guillaume Esmiol (Satellifacts, February 11), the Market is preparing "many new services and initiatives," according to the press release.

The first novelty that has been announced: the Market will host for the first time a "Fantasy" pavilion dedicated to fantasy and genre cinema, organized in partnership with the Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF), which unites the main world events around these themes.
