Apple TV+ 's sci-fi series Silo will open the 6th season of Canneseries (April 14-19), the organizer announced on Thursday March 9. It will be screened in a premiere at the Palais des festivals in the city of Cannes on Friday April 14, before its launch on the platform from May 5.
Based on the novels by Hugh Howey, this dystopia is produced by AMC Studios. Will be present in Cannes the director Morten Tyldum (Imitation Game), the screenwriter Graham Yost (Band of Brothers) and the actress Rebecca Ferguson (Happy Valley, Dune), all of them also producers. The cast also includes Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo and Rashida Jones.
The full Canneseries program will be announced on Tuesday 28 March.
