Cartoon Network and its iconic characters are making their debut on the Roblox gaming platform by releasing Cartoon Network Game On!, announced the channel of the Warner Bros. Discovery group (WBD) on Wednesday, February 15.
After the success of Ben 10 Super Hero Time on Roblox (with more than 260 million visits since its launch in 2020), Cartoon Network is expanding its presence in the metaverse to bring its shows to a wider audience.
Obstacle courses, zip lines, slides, rides and mini-games… Cartoon Network Game On! immerses Roblox players in a 100% experiential world where you can explore five extraordinary islands dedicated to the characters of the channel's flagship series, detailed the press release. Cartoon Network Game On! is discovered through several games (multiplayer or solo), each one being inspired by an episode of the shows. Children can upgrade their characters and earn exclusive accessories to customize their avatars.
Cartoon Network (7-14 years), which left the Canal+ offers at the beginning of January, will arrive on Prime Video Channels via the new Warner Pass, which will be launched in March. This subscription service will bring together exclusively all WBD content: HBO series, the group's 12 linear channels – including children's channels (Cartoon Network, Boomerang and the new Cartoonito) – as well as their associated on-demand services (Satellifacts, January 12).
