Chabraque Prod./Maison Wanowan/Slash : Abd al Malik's "9.3 BB" series shot in January

Chabraque Productions and Maison Wanowan will begin shooting the 9.3 BB (8 x 26') series for france.tv/slash on January 16, the production companies announced on Monday, December 12. Written by Wallen, this dramatic and musical comedy is currently in preparation and will be directed by Abd al Malik, also executive producer alongside Clémentine Dabadie and Hervé Fihey.

Starring Luiza Benaïssa, Matteo Falkone, Horya Benabet and Victor Bonnel, 9.3 BB follows Leïla, whose world and plans crumble after the death of her boyfriend Bruno, a young policeman infiltrating a far-right group. One evening, however, she finds herself by a strange coincidence at the theater watching a rehearsal of Bertolt Brecht's Antigone. Upset, the young girl from 9.3 (Seine-Saint-Denis), already passionate about poetry, leaves law school and embarks on a real theatrical adventure with her group of friends.

Filming will take place until March 10 in Seine-Saint-Denis and Paris.
