Club Series / DeltaRocket: special “We Love Series” program for the channel’s 30th anniversary

Série Club, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, will offer a special program called We Love Series – 30 ans qui ont tout changé on Saturday April 22 at 9 p.m. announced on Tuesday April 4, the channel created in March 1993 by the M6 group, joined in the capital by TF1 in early 2001. The program is produced by DeltaRocket (Jacinto Carvalho) with the support of Canneseries (April 14-19): it will be recorded in Cannes from the Palais des Festivals on the occasion of the demonstration.
Hosted by journalist Nico Prat (Rockyrama), We Love Series will retrace, "from Twin Peaks and X-Files to today's blockbusters, [...] thirty years of TV series that have gone beyond the limits of the small screen to become a social phenomenon,” the statement said. With the participation of journalists Nora Bouazzouni, Margaux Baralon and Cédric Melon (Télécâble Sat Hebdo), also a screenwriter, as well as series historian Marjolaine Boutet (La Sorbonne), the program will address several themes.
In addition to the role played by the two series already mentioned, the program also includes the "HBO revolution" (The Sopranos, Oz, The Wire), the series-phenomenon Lost, the revival of French series (Engrenages, Le Bureau des legendes) or still “the golden age of blockbusters” (Game of Thrones). This exceptional evening will also be an opportunity to talk about transidentity in series, the treatment of anti-heroes, but also the future: “What to expect for the next thirty years? ". Série Club also promises “surprises” and behind-the-scenes images from the festival.
