Daniel-Toscan-du-Plantier Prize: Carole Scotta and Barbara Letellier (Haut et Court) winners 2023

Producers Carole Scotta and Barbara Letellier (Haut et Court) won the Daniel-Toscan-du-Plantier Prize on Monday, February 13, which distinguishes a producer from French cinema who has marked the previous year. In 2022, they notably produced The Night of the 12th by Dominik Moll, nominated for Césars in 10 categories.
They were elected after a vote carried out from February 3 to 13, open to the 162 members of the general assembly of the Académie des Césars, as well as to all the artists and technicians who have been the subject of a nomination for the Césars since 2008 (year of creation of the prize), i.e. a college of 1,641 voters. Last year, Edouard Weil and Alice Girard (Rectangle Productions) were honored.
During the evening, a tribute was also paid to Daniel Toscan du Plantier, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the death of the man who was notably president of the Academy between 1992 and 2003.
