
Disney+ will launch season 2 of the French series Les Amateurs (4 x 30') on January 4, 2023, the platform announced on Monday, November 28. Produced by Calt Studio (Robin & Co group, Federation Studios) and BBC Studios France, this action comedy is again played by Vincent Dedienne and François Damiens, as well as Fanny Sidney and Anne Benoît.
Les Amateurs is an adaptation of the BBC comedy The Wrong Mans. The plot follows the incredible adventures of Vincent, in his early thirties, and Alban, 45, who still lives with his mother and works in the same premises as Vincent. In these new episodes, the duo is still hidden in the Moroccan desert thanks to the DGSE, which staged their funeral. Vincent and Alban had to cut ties with their former lives and their families. Suddenly, when Alban, who has found happiness in this new life, learns that his mother is sick, he panics. Vincent, who dreams of seeing Louise again, convinces him that he must go home. But the path looks perilous. Gang warfare, chemical weapons trafficking and the return of a revenge-seeking Russian agent… They will be spared nothing.
Season 1 is available since October 19, accessible only in the Disney+ Star offer, and is intended for young adults and adults.
