Disney: the female "Pirates of the Caribbean" project with Margot Robbie abandoned

The film project based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with Margot Robbie and an all-female cast has been abandoned, the actress told Vanity Fair on Monday (November 14). The project had been in development for two years, with Birds of Prey screenwriter Christina Hodson, but "I guess they [ Disney ] don't feel like doing it," Margot Robbie continued, without giving further details.
