Endeavour: acquisition of WWE, a company specializing in the broadcasting of wrestling programs

Endeavor Group Holdings, parent company of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship - MMA), announced on Monday April 3 that it had acquired WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), a company specializing in the publishing of wrestling programs, which will be merged with UFC to form a new publicly traded company.
Under the terms of the agreement, Endeavor will own 51% of the combined company, with the remainder held by WWE shareholders. The value of the company is estimated at 21 billion dollars (or 19.3 billion euros; approximately 12 billion for the UFC and 9 billion for the WWE).
Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor, will also serve as CEO of the new company while WWE boss Vince McMahon will serve as executive chairman. A new 11-person board will be formed, with Endeavor getting one more seat than WWE.
