Endemol France / Prime Video: a season 4 and a spin-off for "LOL - Qui rit, sort!"

Prime Video has ordered a season 4 of LOL: qui rit, sort!, announced the platform on Tuesday March 14, also revealing the upcoming of a “special season” by the end of the year. These two new salvos will still be presented by Philippe Lacheau and produced by Endemol France (Banijay group).

This spin-off, which has no title yet, will mix comedy and horror. Eight celebrities will have to resist the urge to laugh or scream in fear in order to win the competition. Filming will begin before the summer, Prime Video's French original creative director Thomas Dubois told Variety.

As a reminder, entertainment is an adaptation of LOL: Last One Laughing, a Japanese concept with the “Amazon Original” logo. Season 3 of the French version was launched on Friday, March 10.
