Applications for the 31st Lorenzo Natali Prize are open online until April 28, the European Commission announced on Thursday March 9. This EU prize rewards reporting stories "by journalists from all over the world, highlighting the most pressing global challenges", according to the press release from Brussels.
Journalists (print, audiovisual and digital) can apply in three categories: international, European, emerging journalist (under 30).
The prize pays tribute to the former Vice-President of the European Commission, Lorenzo Natali, who made a significant contribution to the promotion and development of European development policies.
