Eurovision Junior 2022: young French singer Lissandro wins the competition with "Oh maman !"

The young French singer, Lissandro, 13, won Eurovision Junior on Sunday, December 11. Oh maman ! inspired by rockabilly and co-written by Barbara Pravi (second in Eurovision in 2021 with Voilà) won 203 points during the competition which took place in Yerevan, Armenia.

Delphine Ernotte Cunci, CEO of France Télévisions and the EBU, congratulated Lissandro on her Twitter account and announced that the public group would host the competition next year. For this 2022 edition, 16 countries participated in Eurovision Junior. Votes came from 170 nations around the world, according to the contest website.

This is the second time that France has won Eurovision Junior, after Valentina's victory in 2020.
