After two years of absence, the festival Objectif Aventure will return from January 27 to 29, at the Centquatre, in Paris, with travel writer Sylvain Tesson as president, announced the organizers, Terres d'Aventure and Grand Nord Grand Large on Wednesday, November 23. Occurring biennially, the event dedicated to adventure documentaries was created in 2013. It should have been held in 2021 but the edition was canceled due to Covid and postponed to 2022, which could not take place for the same reasons.

The 5th edition will offer screenings of 40 international adventure, travel and exploration films, intended for television or the big screen, most of them followed by discussions with the adventurers or directors. Several new features have been announced, including conferences and the creation of a short film prize. The expected guests include: the producer Valérie Abita (ZED), for Zanskar, les promesses de l’hiver, and the producer Jean-Charles Ostorero (Julianne Films), at the origin of the feature film Le Sommet des dieux, or even directors Hervé Pfister (Un monde sous vide), as well as Jérémie and Alexis Lopez (Vivre la forêt) and Marianne Chaud (L'Aventure).
