FMM: adherence to the charter for greater gender equality - sports writing

France Médias Monde is associated with the charter for greater equality between women and men in sports newsrooms, drawn up by the association Women Sports Journalists (FJS) and the Union of Sports Journalists in France (UJSF) and supported by the Ministry of Equality between Women and Men, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, announced Wednesday June 14 the public group, parent company of France 24, RFI and MCD.

"On the eve of major international sporting events, such as the Rugby World Cup in France, the CAN in Côte d'Ivoire or the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, adherence to this charter is as part of France Médias Monde's proactive policy in favor of gender equality, both in terms of the representation of women on its channels (52% of women on France 24 and RFI in French in 2022), than in terms of human resources ", underlines the group. In this area, the company specifies that it “obtained this year again the almost maximum score of 99/100 in the index of professional equality”.
