France 2: "L'Ile prisonnière," 1st original TV subject by Michel Bussi, on February 13

France 2 will broadcast the series L'Ile prisonnière (6 x 52') from Monday, February 13 at 9.10 p.m., the channel announced on Tuesday, January 24. This is Michel Bussi's first original subject for television, produced by Cinétévé. Based on an original idea and characters by the writer, also scripted with Christian Clères, the series is directed by Elsa Bennett and Hippolyte Dard.

The cast will include: Pierre Perrier, Lannick Gautry, Margot Bancilhon, Kevin Azaïs, Anouk Grinberg, Déborah François, Antoine Duléry, Marie Denarnaud, Jane Cara and Diégo Murgia.

The synopsis: Penhic, a small island off the coast of Brittany, an island without history until the day when twenty armed activists disembark and confine all the inhabitants to the village school. Alpha, their leader, has planned everything, except that the shuttle that connects Penhic to the mainland escapes and allows five of its passengers to hide on the island. Who are these activists? Why are they holding the inhabitants of Penhic prisoners? Who among them will become heroes, cowards or traitors? Who is the stranger on the shuttle who returns after ten years of absence? Will Chris, Dorian, Kelly, Mado, Alex and the others succeed in foiling Operation Oceanite Storm? And will Candice find the love of her life on this occasion?
