France 2 / La Boîte à Images: filming of “La Fille de l'assassin” adapted from Patricia MacDonald

France 2 launched on Friday March 3, in Lille and its region, the filming of the unit La Fille de l'assassin (The Assassin's daughter) (90'), adapted from the thriller La Fille sans visage by Patricia MacDonald (published by Albin Michel in January 2005), with Chloé Chaudoye and Bruno Wolkowitch in the lead roles, the channel said in a statement Monday, March 6. Produced by La Boîte à Images, the TV movie is directed by Carole Kornmann from a script by Natalie Carter and Eve de Castro.

It tells the story of Nina (Chloé Chaudoye), still a teenager when her father (Bruno Wolkowitch) is arrested for the murder of his mother. When he is released on parole fifteen years later, he still claimed his innocence and is determined to find the culprit. Only Nina supports him, unlike his two brothers, Patrick and Martial. As the secrets unfold, death strikes again... The cast also brings together Nicolas Gob and Samir Boitard in the roles of the brothers and Barbara Probst. Filming will continue until March 31.
