The daily program C'est encore nous! broadcast at 5 p.m. on France Inter will actually stop, confirmed Charline Vanhoenacker, Wednesday May 10 in C à vous, on France 5. The comedian clarified that “it is not [her] decision”, underlining that the program is "very high in the polls" of audience, with 1.25 million listeners. "It would not have occurred to me to go to weekly […], it was a proposal that was made to me, we will adapt ", she added, after losing tast year her daily morning show (Satellifacts, June 20, 2022). Le Parisien had recently indicated that the comedian was preparing to “confirm her decision” to put an end to her daily show (Satellifacts, May 2).

Successively titled Si tu écoutes, j’annule tout, Par Jupiter ! and C’est encore nous !, Charline Vanhoenacker's show has been around for nine years. Dedicated to the humorous treatment of current events, it brings together columnists such as Alex Vizorek and Guillaume Meurice. Her example has often been brandished by public figures who accuse France Inter of leaning to the left. This is why its transition to a weekly rhythm has raised questions. Asked by AFP, the management of France Inter denied any political pressure and assured that " the tone of the program will not change ".

According to the management of the public radio, the change in frequency is linked to the fact that it “becomes complicated to maintain a daily rhythm with a troupe” of comedians where “everyone has their individual projects”. While the audiences are high, "it may be the right time to suggest that they renew themselves, to make a different format", with "a new breath". “It's a real opportunity, and that's also why Charline accepted it,” argued the management. According to her, the choice of the program that will succeed the daily of the comedian is not decided yet.

For the record, the France Inter schedule will also change thanks to the departures from the air of Jérôme Garcin, presenter of Le Masque et la Plume for thirty-four years, and Laure Adler, whose program L'Heure bleue s will stop at the end of the season (Satellifacts, April 30).
