The La Seria series (5 x 40') has been available since April 7 on the france.tv platform. Produced by AnderAnderA, Piget Films and France 3 Occitanie (which is producing a series for the first time), this fiction has the particularity of being shot in French, Occitan, Catalan and Serbo-Croatian. La Seria was created by “two lovers of the region”, Julien Campredon and Amic Bedel, who is also directing.
Carried by a cast mixing professionals and amateurs, this polyglot comedy tells the story of Thomas, 25, who wants to modernize Occitan by creating an audiovisual series. He picks up a friend who didn't ask for anything, Matthieu. After a delirious road movie, Thomas puts an end to the project when he discovers that his girlfriend is cheating on him with Matthieu. Six years later, there has been water under the bridge and on emerging bald spots. Thomas puts a coin back in the machine, finds Matthieu, and relaunches his crazy project. But now, he needs much more than an accomplice: he needs actors, technicians, a dog, funders, and a big camera...

[…] Far from circumscribing the broadcasting radius, the fact of programming La Seria at the national level on the france.tv platform reveals a new ambition, ”commented Fabrice Valéry, antennas and content delegate for the regional channel, quoted in the press release..
