france.tv/slash / France 2: launch of the “Caro Nostra” series (Elephant Story) on March 31

The fantasy series Caro Nostra – Les ogres sont parmi nous (5 x 40'), produced for the Slash platform, will also benefit from TV exposure: this free adaptation of the comic strip Un Homme de Gout by El Diablo (Boris Dolivet) will be launched on france.tv/slash on Friday March 31 at 8 p.m., before being scheduled on France 2 at 12:05 a.m., France Télévisions announced on Tuesday March 7.
Created by El Diablo and Jean-Pierre Pascaud, who wrote it with Iris de Jessey and Fanny Talmone, the series features a clan of ogres who attempt to go unnoticed after rushing out of Serbia due to a " dark story of uncontrolled devouring”. It is made up of two teenagers, Vadim (Abraham Wapler) and Antigone (Ella Pellegrini), who are about to return to college, their father (Nicolas Wanczycki), a refined cook, and their grandmother (Annie Mercier), who is losing her memory. The opportunity to address social issues (xenophobia, antispeciesism) and an impossible love story between an ogre and a young human.
