The 2D animated series Les Voyages de Lina (ex-Les Voyages d'Ismaël, 9 x 3'30) will be released on france.tv on February 2. Created by Ismaël Saidi, and co-produced by Les Batelières Productions, Foliascope and Cinemon Entertainment, it is directed by Hanan Kaminski.
Thanks to Lina, a young schoolgirl who asks herself many questions about religions through everyday events, the program offers a historical journey to discover the origins of the three monotheistic religions. The ambition is to offer "keys to understanding," "deconstruct a number of preconceived ideas" and to allow a "reflection on the place" that religion occupies today in society, according to the press release from France Télévisions.
Each episode addresses a theme: the birth of the three monotheistic religions and the principle of secularism, equality between men and women in each of them, food prohibitions, the first Christians, the Virgin Mary and Jesus recognized by Muhammad and Muslims, religions and violence, as well as violence among Christians.
