Patron-friend since 2020, Warner Bros. Discovery has renewed its support for the French Cinémathèque for three years, the latter announced on Wednesday March 1. While studio Warner Bros. will celebrate its centenary this year, several retrospectives will be organized for the occasion: "La Warner, fabrique de stars" from April 5 to May 18, "La Warner et les 70's" from May 31 to June 18 as well as a retrospective on Raoul Walsh in September 2023. The group will also support the Toute la mémoire du monde festival, organized from March 8 to 12, and will accompany previews and meetings.
The Cinémathèque française has major patrons such as the Gan Foundation for Cinema, Chanel and Netflix and also patrons-friends like Neuflize OBC, Gaumont, Warner Bros. and BNP Paribas.
