Henri-Jeanson Prize: Danièle Thompson, 2021 winner

The 2021 Henri-Jeanson Prize was awarded to Danièle Thompson, the SACD announced on Tuesday April 18, which awards this prize each year to an author whose "insolence, humor and dramatic power perpetuate the memory of one of the most famous filmmakers.

Director, screenwriter, dialogue writer, director and writer, Danièle Thompson is rewarded for "her mastery of writing and directing, her ability to tell touching and universal stories as well as for her dialogues renowned for their finesse and ability to capture the essence of emotions and human relationships”, perpetuating the memory of Henri Jeanson, according to the SACD.
The Bardot series, which she co-wrote with her son Christopher Thompson, will be broadcast from May 8 on France 2 (our edition of the day).

Danièle Thompson succeeds Patrice Leconte (2020), Elia Suleiman (2019), Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano (2018), Valérie Lemercier (2017), Pierre Salvadori (2016), Xavier Giannoli (2015), Pierre Jolivet (2014) or even to Albert Dupontel (2013).
