On Thursday, December 8, INA launched a device called "the lab" which aims to "stimulate research" from the data collections that the Institute keeps, it indicated on December 5. This "incubator of research projects" includes "accessible and flexible places for the reception of researchers, scientific animation or training", access to "experts" and documentaries, as well as services (access to data, "toolbox", scientific animation, etc.), according to the release.

The INA teams will present the lab on Thursday December 8 at 5p.m. at the mk2 Bibliothèque during an event that will also include an "inaugural conference" by journalist Xavier de la Porte entitled "History of a journey through computer science," as well as the INAthèque Awards Ceremony. The 2022 research prize will be awarded to Aurélie Aubert for her thesis on short information formats circulating via social networks and the encouragement prize to Adrien Julla-Marcy for his research on historical documentaries on television.
