On the sidelines of the release of The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan by Martin Bourboulon on April 5, the Jérôme Seydoux-Pathé Foundation is organising, until July 15, a series of events around the work of Alexandre Dumas, father and son, according to a statement released Friday, March 24. Among them, a retrospective “Alexandre Dumas father and son”, scheduled until April 25, offers films inspired by stories invented by the Dumas family. Initially, a cycle of silent films in cine-concert will be an opportunity to see the adaptation of some of their titles by filmmakers Albert Capellani, Richard Oswald, Ugo Falena, Alexandre Volkoff, Edwin S. Porter and Allan Dwan. In parallel, the Foundation is planning a series of special sessions.

Within the walls of the Foundation, the exhibition "Dumas on screen, from adventure to excess", scheduled until July 15, is an opportunity to discover more than 200 documents and nearly 100 film extracts, costumes, accessories or even photographs relating to the stories of the Dumas. Also on display are the costumes from the film which will be released on April 5.
