Keshet Studios / United States: creation of a unscript division entrusted to two Banijay alumni

Keshet Studios, the North American division of Israeli production and distribution group Keshet International (KI), which notably produced the fiction series La Brea for NBC and Echo 3 for Apple TV+, opens up to entertainment with the creation of a division dedicated to unscripted production, it announced April 24. Its management is entrusted to two former executives of Banijay Studios North America, Rebecca Mayer and Benjamin Long, appointed respectively executive vice-president and vice-president. Both left Banijay last November.

At Keshet Studios, the duo's mission will be to deploy Keshet's unscripted formats on the American TV and streaming market, to exploit its international catalog but also to create original projects that can be distributed internationally by KI.

Based in Los Angeles, Rebecca Mayer will report to Peter Traugott, president of Keshet Studios, while Benjamin Long will report to Rebecca Mayer. At Banijay Studios North America, the latter supervised the programs Temptation Island (USA Network) , Don't (ABC) and Wife Swap (Paramount Network).
