L'Equipe/Basketball: acquisition of the rights to the Leaders Cup

L'Equipe has acquired the rights to the Leaders Cup, the channel and the National Basketball League (Ligue nationale de basket, LNB) announced on Tuesday, December 13. The competition, in which the eight best Betclic Elite teams compete, will take place from February 17 to 19 and will be broadcast on L'Equipe, and on the L'Equipe Live platform.

Created in 2013 and previously named the Semaine des As, the Leaders Cup was canceled in 2021 due to the health crisis, then in 2022 for economic reasons. In 2020, it was broadcast on RMC Sport.
